Lincomycin (HCL) + Neomycin (sulfate) +Prednisolone ( acetate )

Intramammary sterile infusion for lactating cows

Pharmaceutical composition: Each syringe contains 10 grams:
Lincomycin (hydrochloride) 350 mg
Neomycin (sulfate) 150 milligram
Prednisolone (acetate) 5 mg
Ointment base up to 10 grams
Pharmaceutical specifications: Lincomycin is a lincosamide antibiotic with a special effect against Gram-positive bacteria, especially Staphylococcus and Streptococcus species. Neomycin is an aminoclygoside antibiotic active against Gram positive bacteria particularly Staphylococcus spp and Gram negative bacteria. The combined spectrum of activity of Lincomycin and Neomycin covers the major mastitis pathogens including penicillinresistant strains of staphylococci. Prednisone is a synthetic glucocorticoid that has anti inflammatory properties.

Indications: This drug is one of the best choices in the treatment of acute and chronic infections during lactation, especially penicillin-resistant cases.

Method and dosage:

• Shake the syringe before use.
• Wash teats thoroughly with warm water containing a suitable antiseptic. Dry teats thoroughly. Milk out udder completely. Wipe each teat by an alcohol pad separately. Infuse one syringe into each affected quarter. Repeat the treatment for maximum 3 times in 12 hours. Shake the syringe before use. Clean the head of each pacifier with a separate alcohol pad. The contents of each syringe should be injected into the affected area through the milk duct. . For each cartier, a maximum of 3 injections should be performed at an interval of 12 hours. Massage the quarter to distribute the product in to the milk cistern. It would help the absorption of the medicine

Precautions:

• For Veterinary Use Only
• Do not use in dry period.
• Use with caution in case of allergy to aminoglycosides.
• Use with caution during pregnancy.
• Keep out of reach of children.

• Withdrawal period:

• Humans cannot consume milk up to 3 days and meat up to 7 days after the last treatment.

• Storage:

• Keep in below 25° C, and protect from direct sunlight.
