Intramammary sterile infusion for lactating cows

• Composition:Each 10 g syringe contains:
Oxytetracycline (hydrochloride) 250 mg
– Neomycin (sulfate) 250 mg
Prednisolone (acetate) 5 mg
– Oily base q.s. 10 g

Pharmaceutical specifications: The combination of oxytetracycline and neomycin has a broad-spectrum effect against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Streptococcus species, which together with prednisolone reduces inflammation and improves mastitis.

• Target species: Cattle

Indications:It is prescribed for the treatment of acute and subacute mastitis caused by gram-positive and gram-negative bacterial infections in dairy cows.

Method and dosage:

• Shake the syringe before use.
• The infected cartier should be washed and disinfected with warm water containing a suitable disinfectant, then dried completely. Shake the syringe before use. Clean the head of each pacifier with a separate alcohol pad. The contents of each syringe should be injected into the affected area through the milk duct. . For each cartier, a maximum of 3 injections should be performed at an interval of 12 hours. Massage the quarter to distribute the product in to the milk cistern. It would help the absorption of the medicine

• Do not use in dry period.
• Hypersensitivity to aminoglycosides should be considered.
