Ampicillin ( sodium ) + Cloxacillin ( sodium )

Intramammary sterile infusion for lactating cows

Pharmaceutical composition:Each 10 gram syringe contains:
Ampicillin (سديم ) 150 milligram
Cloxacillin( sodium) 400 milligram
Ointment base up to 10 grams
Pharmaceutical specifications: Ampicillin is a beta-lactam antibiotic. Cloxacillin is one of the beta-lactamase-resistant penicillins, which exerts its antibiotic effect by inhibiting the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall.

• Sodium salt form of these synergistic antibiotic kill a wide range of mastitis-causing bacteria, including streptococci, staphylococci, corynebacteria, E. coli, Klebsiella, Proteus and salmonella. Cloxacillin is also effective on penicillinase producing bacteria.
  

• Target species: : Cattle

• Indication:Treatment of mastitis in lactating cow.

Method and dosage:

• Shake the syringe before use.
• Wash teats thoroughly with warm water containing a suitable antiseptic. Dry teats thoroughly. Milk out udder completely. Wipe each teat by an alcohol pad separately. Infuse one syringe into each affected quarter. Repeat the treatment for maximum 3 times in 12 hours. Shake the syringe before use. Clean the head of each pacifier with a separate alcohol pad. The contents of each syringe should be injected into the affected area through the milk duct. . Repeat the treatment for maximum 3 times in 8 hours. Massage the quarter to distribute the product in to the milk cistern. It would help the absorption of the medicine

Precautions:

• For Veterinary Use Only
• Hypersensitirity to penicillins should be considered.
• Do not use in dry period.
• Keep out of reach of children.

• Withdrawal period:

• Avoid consuming milk for 3 days and meat for 7 days after the last treatment.

• Storage:

• Keep in below 25° C, and protect from direct sunlight.
