Penicillin G ( procain ) + Kanamycin sulfate + Cloxacillin ( benzathine )

Intramammary sterile infusion for drying cow

Pharmaceutical composition: Each 10 g syringe contains:
Penicillin G ( procain ) 300/000 I.U.
Kanamycin sulfate 100/000 I.U.
Cloxacillin ( benzathine ) 500 mg
Oily base q.s. 10 g

Pharmaceutical specifications: Calopen is a stable intramammary ointment to prevent microbial infections during dry season. Cloxacillin is a broad-spectrum semi-synthetic antibiotic and is effective against staphylococci (including penicillin-resistant staphylococci), Clostridium pyogenes, Escherichia coli and other Gram-negative bacteria. Kanamycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that is effective against enterobacteria (Escherichia coli, Klebsiella and Proteus), salmonella and staphylococci. Penicillin G Procaine belongs to the group of beta-lactam antibiotics and is mainly effective against Gram-positive bacteria.

• Indication: Prevention & Treatment of mastitis ، during dry period

Method and dosage:

• At the beginning of the dry period, clean and disinfect the tip of the cartier and inject the contents of each syringe into a cartier. To help better absorption and effect, massage Cartier from bottom to top after injection. Shake well before use.

Precautions:

• Hypersensitivity to penicillins should be considered.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• For Veterinary Use Only

• Withdrawal period:

• Refrain from consuming milk until 4 days after delivery and meat until 28 days after the last treatment.

• Storage:

• . Store at a temperature lower than 25 oC and away from direct sunlight and protect from freezing.

• 30 syringes of 8 grams
