Bismuth subnitrate

Intramammary sterile infusion for drying cow

• Composition: Each 4 g syringe contains: Bismuth subnitrate 2.6 g
Oily base q.s. 4 g

Pharmaceutical specifications: Teat seal® DC is indicated as an aid in the prevention of new intramammary infection throughout the dry period by providing a malleable barrier in the teat canal. This results in a reduction in the incidence of clinical mastitis in the dry period. It is recommended that Teat seal® DC be used as part of a herd approach to dry cow management and mastitis control.

• Target species: : Cattle

• Indications: Prevention of new intramammary infections of dairy cattle throughout the dry period.

Method and dosage:

• After last milking at dry-off, clean and disinfect the teats with the alcohol swabs provided. Infuse the entire contents of one syringe of Teat seal® DC into each quarter. Do not massage teat or udder following infusion.

Precautions:

• For Veterinary Use Only
• To be used only at the beginning of the dry season.
• Do not use in lactating period.
• Keep out of reach of children.

• Withdrawal period:

• If used alone, there is no time to avoid consuming milk and meat, and if used simultaneously with antibiotics, the time to avoid taking antibiotics should be considered.

• Storage:

• Store in closed syringes at room temperature.

• Packaging:

• 48 syringes, 4 grams
