Intramammary sterile infusion for lactating cows

Pharmaceutical composition: Each 10 g syringe contains:
Penicillin G (procaine) 300,000 international units
Dihydrostreptomycin (sulfate) 300 mg
-Dexamethasone (sodium phosphate) 1.5 mg
Oily base q.s. 10 g

Pharmaceutical specifications: Penstreson is an effective intramammary infusion, with an anti-inflammatory effect. It is active against gram-positive and gram- negative bacteria.

• Target species: : Cattle

• Indications: :Treatment of clinical mastitis in lactating cows.

Method and dosage:

• Shake the syringe before use.
• Wash teats thoroughly with warm water containing a suitable antiseptic. Dry teats thoroughly. Milk out udder completely. Wipe each teat by an alcohol pad separately. Infuse one syringe into each affected quarter. Repeat the treatment for maximum 3 times in 12 hours. Shake the syringe before use. Clean the head of each pacifier with a separate alcohol pad. The contents of each syringe should be injected into the affected area through the milk duct. . For each cartier, a maximum of 3 injections should be performed at an interval of 12 hours. Massage the quarter to distribute the product in to the milk cistern. It would help the absorption of the medicine

Precautions:

• For Veterinary Use Only
• Do not use in dry period.
• Hypersensitivity to penicillins or aminoglycosides should be considered.
• Keep the medicine out of the reach of children.

• Withdrawal period:

• Avoid consuming milk for 3 days and meat for 7 days after the last treatment.

• Storage:

• Keep in below 25 °C and protect from direct sunlight and freezing.

• 30 ×10 g intramammary syringes
