Antiparasitic oral solution

Composition: Each milliliter of oral solution contains 2 mg of avermectin.

Pharmacological characteristics and mechanism of action: Ivermectin belongs to the group of macrocyclic lactones, which acts as a GABA agonist. It is also connected to chlorine channels with glutamate input (gated-Glutamate channels chloride) and by increasing the permeability of nerve cells to chlorine ions and as a result of hyperpolarization of these cells, it prevents the transmission of nerve signals in the parasite and leads to paralysis and death of the parasite. Ivermectin is very effective against internal and intestinal parasites in horses. This drug is a good choice for controlling parasites in horses with a broad spectrum of effects and a wide margin of safety. Also, this product has a great effect against roundworms, lungworms and nasal parasites of sheep and goats.

Indications: Sheep and goats: It is prescribed for the treatment and control of mature and immature forms of gastrointestinal nematodes, lungworms and all larval stages of the nose worm (Streus ovis) and external parasites (sucking and biting bugs and scabies (Psorpets ovis)) in sheep and goats. Horse: For the effective treatment of parasitic infections caused by tapeworms, large and small strongyles, lungworms and larvae

Method and dosage:

• One milliliter per 10 kg of body weight. (200 micrograms of ivermectin per kilogram of body weight) should only be administered orally.

Prohibited usage:

• Do not use at the same time as other drugs.

Precautions:

• For Veterinary Use Only
• Avermectin is highly toxic to fish and aquatic animals. Containers containing this medicine must be destroyed in a safe way (burying or burning) after use.
• Wash your hands thoroughly after using the medicine.
• Keep out of reach of children.

• Withdrawal period:

• Sheep & goat: Meat: 14 days
• It is prohibited to use in animals whose milk reaches human consumption.

• Storage:

• Keep in below 25 °C and protect from direct sunlight and freezing.
