Acetyl tributyl citrate

Composition: Each ml contains: Acetyl tributyl citrate 1g
Pharmaceutical specifications:Kimi Terol ® reduces the surface tension of foamy bubbles and allowing the gas trapped inside them to escape and belched out by animals.

Target species: Cattle and sheep

Indications: For the relief of gaseous and frothy bloat in cattle and small ruminants caused by:
Consuming juicy and fresh fodder, feeding with grassy and leguminous plants (alfalfa and clover), especially in spring
Excessive consumption of concentrates and grains
Sudden change of diet from dry fodder to fresh fodder
Mixing the microbial flora of the digestive system
Gastric atony caused by vagus nerve disorders

Method and dosage:

• Cattle: mix 20-30 ml of this liquid with some water and administer as a drench or inject directly into the rumen.
  Sheep: mix 5-10 ml of Kimi Terol with some water and administer as a drench. Treatment may be repeated after 10 hours if necessary.

Precautions:

• For Veterinary Use Only
• It is preferred that medicated water be fed through a gastric tube to facilitate the exit of gas and reduces the risk of inhalation pneumonia. In acute cases where the animal is trapped due to severe bloating, the product can be injected directly into the rumen.
• In bloating, it is recommended to use injectable antihistaminea concurrently
• because of the high level of the released histamines.

• No (use of this drug is allowed in pregnant and lactating animals)

• Keep in below 25° C, and protect from direct sunlight.
