Topical Ointment

• Composition: Each 100 g contains: Ketoconazole 2 g

Pharmaceutical specifications: Ketoconazole, an imidazole compound that inhibits the conversion of lanosterol to ergosterol in the fungal cell wall by inhibiting the enzyme 14-alpha-demethylase dependent on cytochrome P-450 and causing leakage in the cell wall. Ketoconazole is also effective against a number of gram-positive bacteria.

• Indication:For the treatment of cutaneous fungal infections caused by Trichophyton, Microsporum, Candida, Malassezia spp. in cattle, sheep, goats, camels, horses, dogs, cats and birds.

Method and dosage:

• Ketoconazole 2% should be applied to the affected area as a uniform film 2-3 times daily until clinical clearing.

Precautions:

• For Veterinary Use Only
• Use gloves when using.
• Keep out of reach of children.

• Store at a temperature of 15-25 degrees Celsius, away from light and protect from freezing.
