Composition:

Each 100 g contains: Ketoconazole   2 g

Mechanism of action:

Ketoconazole is an imidazole compound that inhibits the conversion of lanosterol to ergosterol in the fungal cell wall by inhibiting the enzyme 14-alpha-demethylase dependent on cytochrome P450 and causing leakage in the cell wall. Ketoconazole is also effective against a number of gram-positive bacteria.

 Indication:

For the treatment of cutaneous fungal infections caused by Trichophyton, Microsporum, Candida, Malassezia, etc. in cattle, sheep, goats, camel, horses, dogs, cats and birds.

 Dosage & administration:

Ketoconazole 2% ointment be applied to the affected area as a uniform layer 2-3 times a day until clinical clearing.

Prohibited usage: Non.

Cautions:

Wearing protective gloves is recommended.

Keep out of reach of children.

Withdrawal time: Non.

Storage: Keep in below 25° C and Protect from light and freezing.
