Oral Solution

Composition: Each ml contains: Ivermectin    2 mg

Mechanism of Action:Ivermectin belongs to ‌macrocyclic lactones‌ group that acts as an agonist of gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA) inhibitory neurotransmitter. It also binds to Glutamate- gated chloride channels. With these two mechanisms of actions, the transmission of nerve signals to the parasites is blocked and leads to paralysis and death of the parasite. The paralysis and death of the parasite is due to the increased permeability to chloride ions and hyperpolarization of neurons.
